Example Itinerary

Arrive in Nairobi and have a chance to settle into your accommodation at the Nairobi Club. Make use of the excellent sports facilities and cricket nets as you get to know your team.

Enjoy your first cricket match against one of the local teams. Settle down again in the evening to enjoy some of the local food and culture.

Depart for the Rift Valley sports club. Arrive for lunch surrounded by the stunning scenery, before having your second game of the tour in the afternoon.

Travel to Nasio’s guesthouse in rural Mumias by road. Enjoy a relaxed lunch before having an orientation around the Nasio site.

Start building a house for a local family. Learn to use traditional building techniques such as ‘mudding’.

Day 2 of house building. Experience the satisfaction of handing over a completed house by sunset. Get the chance to watch the sun go down on Bukaya rock.

Visit a local secondary school in the morning to teach the locals how to play cricket. After lunch at the guesthouse visit the GMK medical centre and learn how our teams care for the local community.

Fly back to Nairobi from Kisumu and check into the Gymkhana Ground. After lunch at the Bwibo Restaurant, visit the Giraffe centre before returning to Nairobi Gymkhana for dinner.

Start your third match of the tour against Nairobi Gymkhana. Enjoy a full day game against the local side.

In the morning visit the EACDT Character Trough Cricket Schools Programme. After lunch at the Nairobi Club, play an afternoon game against the local team as your final game of the tour.
